Millet is produced by millet peeling. Cooked millet is used in many dishes - for example, in preparation of millet cake (salty and also sweet), millet mash and millet potato-pasta balls. Millet does not contain gluten, therefore it is used to produce millet bread for gluten-free diet.
Millet is very suitable for children, students, athletes, hardworking people and convalescents. It has a high content of B vitamins and minerals including iron, so it is recommended to people suffering from anaemia. Boiled or steamed millet is also used as a side dish similar to rice.
